The National Democratic Congress (NDC) said the party led by former president John Mahama had destroyed most of the good structures put in place by his predecessors.
According to the party, the history of the NDC over the years replaces those of the ruling NPP.
The party's comment is a response to a press conference by New Patriotic Party (NPP) General Secretary John this weekend.
The press conference was organized under the title: "The NDC alternative under Mahama is still scary".
At the press conference, John Boadu said that former President John Mahama and his party had nothing new to offer after almost halting the economy of a 14-year growth. % to 3.4%.
Sammy Gyamfi, the NDC's national communications officer, however, appeared in front of the media on Tuesday to discuss the data recorded by the two sides on education, corruption and infrastructure development.
He said that unlike the current NPP administration, Mr. Mahama's government never concealed corruption cases.
"In the field of education, let's take for example kindergartens, here we limit ourselves to the period 1993-2000, we built 6,321 kindergartens, while the Kufuor administration in eight years could only boast of 2,360 schools.
"For the colleges, during the same period, we built 6,414 schools and they managed only 853. I only talk about the Kufuor era because President Nana Addo, like us we all know, did not build any school. For higher education, since nuclear power plants claim to build and destroy, tell us the number of universities, polytechnics they have built. Mahama, while in power, did not act as a clearing agent or speak for anyone. He did not conceal the corruption. He continued his own trial and punished him. "
Sammy Gyamfi also clarified what the party described as misinformation by the NPP to the public.
He also called on the government to focus on improving the lives of Ghanaians rather than involving the media in performances that the public can feel.
