Former President John Dramani Mahama will begin a special visit to the central region from Wednesday, April 10 to Friday, April 12, 2019.
Mahama would visit Awutu / East Senya, Awutu / West Senya, East Gomoa, Effutu, West Gomoa, Ekumfi, Mfanteman, North Cape Coast, South Cape Coast and the constituencies of Komenda / Edina / Eguafo / Abirem.
Mahama would involve party leaders and strategic stakeholders, interact with citizens and touch the party base, among other activities.

The regional secretariat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) issued a directive that "no actor in any given constituency is allowed to follow the flag bearer and the team in other constituencies once the flag holder has left your respective constituency. "
