Kumasi-based Prophet Emmanuel Acheampong of the Ministry of Power Emmanual has revealed that former President John Mahama has been called by God to become a prophet.
In a video seen by YEN.com.gh on Instagram, the man of God who appeared to be in the spirit, indicated that the leader of the Democratic National Congress would no longer be president.
Going further to explain his comment, Prophet Emmanuel Acheampong said the former head of state had been called by God to do his job.
The founder of Emmanuel Power Ministry indicated that what he was seeing was more spiritual than physical and said that Mahama was going to be a very great prophet and by extension a man of God.
“Tell the NDC that former president John Mahama will no longer be president. Tell the NDC that former president Mahama is a high profile prophet and that God is calling him to do his job,” the man from God in the video.
Former President Mahama was a candidate in the December 7, 2020 general election on the NDC ticket but managed to come in second place as he lost to incumbent President Akufo-Addo.
However, the NDC leader alleged that the election was not credible and that he was not ready to give in.
It is not yet known whether John Mahama and the NDC would go to court to voice their grievances.
Meanwhile, a number of NDC loyalists took to the streets to protest their claims that the 2020 presidential election was marred by irregularities.
Stepping away from prophecies and elections, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a 2020 graduate of Ghana’s first tertiary institution, University of Ghana, has every reason to smile after finally getting his first diploma that took him 10 years.
Mr. Nana Boakye-Yiadom, who enrolled at university in 2010 to study in a 4-year program, was sidelined by many challenges that caused him to repeatedly postpone.
The story goes that the course that should have been completed in 2014 took Nana Boakye-Yiadom six more years to complete it.
