Waris injures FC Nantes against PSG
Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris made an injured return to FC Nantes, which disappointed the exit of the Coupe de France PSG.
The striker fainted in the 60th minute for striker Lucas Evangelista, but that did not stop a raging PSG from beating Nantes 3-0.
Marco Verratti broke through at the end of the race, Kylian Mbappe added a penalty – he had already missed a kick-off – and Dani Alves scored the third goal.
Kalifa Coulibaly was sent back to Nantes for two yellow cards.
PSG seized the title of Ligue 1 and faces Rennes, 10th, who progressed after defeating Lyon 3-2 on Tuesday.
PSG have won the Cup record 12 times and hope to triumph for the fifth consecutive season at the Stade de France on Saturday 27 April.
