Former President John Dramani Mahama eulogized the memory of Major General Francis Vib-Sanziri, who said: "He has served Ghana and the international peacekeeping community well."

During his presidency, Mr. Mahama appointed Major General Vib-Sanziri as Director General of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO).

About Major General Vib-Sanziri

Since joining the Ghana Armed Forces in 1985, Major-General Vib-Sanziri has had a distinguished military career nationally and internationally.

Since April 2017, he has been Director General of International Peace Support Operations at Armed Forces Headquarters, as well as Deputy Director of Ghanaian Army Operations (1996-1998) and Deputy Chief of the Defense Force.
