First Magistrate Tsoka Banda agreed to release on bail on the following conditions:

1. Payment of a non-monetary bond of $ 140

2. The accused must not publish anything on social media about Mrs. Gertrude Mutharika

3. The accused must report to the police offices of the Southern Region once a month.
