KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) – The global supply of rubber gloves available in 2021 is estimated at around $ 420 billion, the Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association (Margma) said in a briefing Monday.

Margma said there would again be a global glove shortage this year and a long lead time for manufacturers to deliver their products to customers.

The association also said demand for the gloves will continue to be robust through the second quarter of 2022.
