SOUTH HAMPTON, N.H. (AP) – A man from New Hampshire had a big surprise as he closed his iPad. A bat was stuck between the back of the camera and its cover and bit his finger.
Roy Syvertson, of South Hampton, told WMUR-TV that it looked like a bee sting in the beginning. When he realized that he was dealing with a bat, he pressed the cover to prevent him from flying away.
Aged 86, he managed to get the bat out but found him dead later. It turned out that the bat was enraged. Syvertson went to the hospital for treatments against rabies.
When asked how the bat had entered his house and iPad last week, Syvertson had a ready answer.
He joked, "My joke," He probably knew my pbadword "will not last forever."
