Danilo revealed that Pep Guardiola's attention to detail is unparalleled, although she has already played Zinedine Zidane.
The back is one of the few players in the Manchester City team to have won the Champions League at Real Madrid. The Brazilian has lifted the veil on the management styles of Guardiola and French.
He told the Mirror, "Of course, they are very different. First, they are all the best coaches and it's impossible to compare the two.
"For me, I am very happy to have had the opportunity to work with them. Pep's attention to details is unparalleled, what Zidane has done for himself is incredible, so it's hard for me to say whether it's better or not.
"I'm just as happy to be with Guardiola as working with Zidane in the past."
Danilo's answer could be attributed to his comparisons between the English and Spanish leagues, as he explained that La Liga is less tactical than the Premier League.
He said: "The English game is more physical and, if I'm allowed to say it, it's more tactical – and by that I mean the teams are trying to win the games – leagues in the world for me."
The 27-year-old hopes to replicate his European success at Real Madrid with City, but admitted it would be a surprise if they raised the trophy in June.
Guardiola's men are heading to Schalke this week in the first leg of the last 16 meetings, as favorites to win the Champions League for the first time.
While Danilo said his team had talked about winning, he suggested that bringing the Champions League back to Etihad would be a surprise, even within the club.
"The Champions League is a very interesting trophy for us and we discussed it and we will try to surprise the manager sooner or later," said Danilo.
"We all know that winning is not an easy competition, but we have quality and we can be sure that we will give the best of ourselves."
