A romantic triangle involving a 30-year-old woman, supposedly dating two men, ended when one of the men shot the other in cold blood at Alhaji, near Achimota, in Accra. .

The 35-year-old car dealership Kwame Agyapong had confronted his rival, Derrick Nana Donkor, 28, when he stumbled upon a love bird in the home of the 30-year-old lady Keshia Akosua Osei .

She added that the deceased had asked Akosua why she had not responded to her calls, but she felt the danger and ran to the police who were doing quick checks around the area and told them that the the deceased wanted to beat her.

A serious confrontation then took place between the two men and the suspect rushed to his car and took a pistol to fire warning shots, but ended up shooting at the deceased, killing him instantly.

He then took the deceased to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on his arrival. From there, he went to Mile 7 police station with Akosua to introduce himself.

They were later arrested to badist the police in their investigations.

Investigations conducted so far by the police revealed that Akosua had had a relationship with the deceased well before he got married, and they continued the relationship even after the marriage.
