It is not unreasonable for Manchester United fans to think that their club should have done more. This is not to say that the time has come for tantrums, yet things seem to be hanging out with some potential agreements.
A Bola's Saturday edition takes a look at Bruno Fernandes' situation, and not for the first time, a Portuguese newspaper says Manchester United wants to complete Harry Maguire's signing before moving on to Sporting midfielder.
A Bola says they discovered it from his own sources and add that Maguire could be completed "at any time" … it is unclear whether the second part of the application is a guess or from the same information.
Miguel Pinho, Bruno's highly-traveled agent, has to talk to Sporting again about the possible transfer to Old Trafford. There have been informal discussions on the offers, but nothing official at the moment.
Ed Woodward is the strongman of Manchester United and A Bola says the manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, told him to "secure" Bruno's signature.
Solskjaer would consider the sportsman as "much more urgent" than Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. Bola adds that Manchester United regards Bruno as number 10 and SMS as number 8.
