Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have been popular since coming to Manchester United, but even the Norwegian has to come back down to earth when it comes to shopping.
The acting director of United spent part of the day on Thursday shopping in Hale, where he collected a variety of food items from high-end supermarket kiosks.
United is busy preparing to face Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday and Solskjaer appeared to be making reservations before heading to London for an overnight stay on Friday.

Claudio Ranieri will have clearly informed his defense of threats to the Solskjaer team, as will United's player of the month, Marcus Rashford.
The 21-year-old has flourished under the guidance of former Reds striker Solskjaer, who scored six goals in January.

"If you look at the stats, it's been said that he's younger than Ronaldo and Rooney to reach 150 matches for Manchester United," said Solskjaer after his recent 150th appearance.
"Not bad, is not it? The 150th match is a feat in itself, at age 21, but with the level of his performances, the maturity of his finishes and his pace of work, dream of having players like him in the team.
"He can be absolutely first clbad. He plays the best football of his career. He has a bright future.
United is entering a really delicate period once they are finished and dusted off in southwestern London when they host Paris Saint-Germain at Old Trafford Tuesday in the Champions League.
The Solskjaer players will then travel to Chelsea for the England Cup before welcoming the title chasers and their ferocious Liverpool rivals to Manchester.
