Manchester United would be willing to spend 80 million pounds to sign Harry Maguire of Leicester City, according to reports.

United is on the market of a new central defender this summer and the English international is one of its main targets.

Leicester, however, is asking for a record price for the 26-year-old, who signed a contract with Hull City for only £ 17 million two years ago.

According to the Sun, United Executive Vice President Ed Woodward is ready to face the price of £ 80 million requested by Leicester with a contract that includes options.

The report also states that United is willing to offer Maguire a five-year contract worth £ 350,000 per week.

United was also willing to offer either Eric Bailly or Marcos Rojo to Leicester as part of the deal.

United also offered to sign Issa Diop from West Ham, but was told that the 22-year-old was not for sale.

Kalidou Koulibaly is also a target, but Naples refuses to stray below the asking price, which far exceeds 100 million pounds.

Elsewhere, United has made an offer of £ 40 million to reject Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace but the club is ready to present an improved offer.
