Manchester United beat Chelsea in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup to plunge the reign of his Blues coach Maurizio Sarri into an even deeper crisis as he felt the full fury of the club's frustrated fans.

United reacted perfectly to their first loss to Paris St-Germain in the Champions League against Paris St-Germain in the round of 16.

Ander Herrera converted Paul Pogba's perfect center to give United a 31-minute lead. Pogba doubled the advantage at half-time diving to lead Marcus Rashford's goal beyond Kepa Arrizabalaga, who should have done better.

As Chelsea suddenly collapsed before another defeat, their fans turned to Sarri. They made fun of his substitutions, mocked his philosophy of "Sarri-ball", demanded the return of Frank Lampard as a manager and joined the fans of United chanting: "You will be fired in the morning".

Solskjaer did not have such problems as he saluted United's supporters after adding another impressive win to his collection, despite the absence of injured Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial.

These supporters may not have the casting vote in the decision of the next club director, but they clearly express their feelings about Solskjaer at another important evening for the man who hope to succeed Jose Mourinho.
