MANCHESTER UNITED fans fear the club will be sued by Paulo Dybala for "it smells like Di Di".
Dybala's compatriot, Angel Di Maria, went from Real Madrid's hero to Old Trafford Zero after his unfortunate move to the Reds in August 2014.
And United fans dread that Dybala is turning into another expensive flop.
The Juventus midfielder refuses to suffer a 25% pay cut for the under-24 team after failing to qualify for the Champions League.
SunSport revealed that Dybala was earning £ 350,000 a week to his representatives, discussing personal terms before an exchange deal for Romelu Lukaku.
And it seems that some supporters of United do not want it near the club given the failures of Di Maria.
One of them said: "Woodward would be almost stupid to want to force Dybala to join United.
"Take a player who does not really want to be in the club feels Di Maria."
"Dybala was very happy with Juve but apparently forced by Sarri to give way to Lukaku.
'NE DO NOT NEED ANOTHER DI MARIA'.
"I'm sorry to be negative, but it could well make Di Maria scream again if he signed for us that way."
Another user wrote: "Dybala to United sounds exciting, but I felt the same for Sanchez, Di Maria, Depay, so …"
One comment said, "What is the blood clot that Dybala is even doing to United?" We are exchanging an experienced striker with more than 20 goals for a signature type of Di Maria.
"I've already seen this movie."
Another tweet: "If we believe the information and if Dybala only wants to join it if he earns silly money, we must leave now.
"We do not need another situation from Di Maria / Sanchez." More signatures like AWB and Dan James are needed – players who will give everything for the jersey. "
A user said: "I bet that Lukaku will find his form again at Juve and DYbala goes flop worse than DI am Maria. "
And another concerned fan said: "My biggest concern though Dybala agrees to join United will be the salary. It could be money over the love of the club again and then it will be Di Maria once again."
Di Maria scored just three goals in 27 Premier League matches for United after paying £ 59.7m in UK transfer fees for his transfer to Bernabeu.
He joined PSG the following season for £ 44m and blamed Louis van Gaal for his failure at Prem.
