Axel Tuanzebe is back at Old Trafford after being loaned to Aston Villa last season, where he gained valuable experience under Dean Smith.
The defender signed a new contract before he left for Australia for the pre-season with Manchester United.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to examine the 21-year-old during his tour to see if he is ready to be part of their Premier League projects.
And so far, he has pbaded brilliantly after being perfectly comfortable in United 's defense during the 2-0 win over Perth Glory.
Tuanzebe started the game at the back and seemed unbelievably comfortable, even though his opponents did not manage to take a serious test.
Manchester United fans on social media have been so impressed by the star. Some even urged Ole Gunnar Solskjaer not to sign a transfer contract for Harry Maguire, the club making a second candidacy.
A fan tweeted: "Please, do not buy Harry Maguire. Tuanzebe is ready to do the job. "

S addressing MUFC TV before the game, Tuanzebe expressed his desire to seize the opportunity to make a statement.
"We had two good weeks of training, now let's get on the ground," he said.
"Manchester has always been my home, so being back among the guys is great.
"Now it's time to go on and show everyone that I'm ready to do it.
"Every pre-season gives players the same chance to show they're ready.
"I worked hard out of season to fill the position I am currently in, so let's take out all the guns."
