DAVID DE GEA has a week to decide his future at Manchester United.
A new contract has been offered to the 28-year-old Spanish goalkeeper and United wants an answer before the end of the season.
Talks on the extension of its mandate beyond next year have resulted in a stalemate. It is therefore up to De Gea to sign or cancel his contract.
Paris Saint-Germain is waiting to yield if De Gea fails to write, the French giants being willing to match its market value of £ 350,000 per week.
They will put pressure on De Gea in the summer, knowing that he will leave in the next 12 months for a free transfer.
Ole boss Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that De Gea would play against Huddersfield today. Number 2 Sergio Romero was dismissed by a knee injury.
The former goalkeeper of Atletico Madrid has however taken a dramatic form while his long-term future at Old Trafford is unclear.

And in the past two months, United has made mistakes against Barcelona, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea.
Its poor form has as a backdrop the uncertainty as to where it will play next season.
