Manchester United has launched a "substantial offer" for Crystal Palace half-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to reports.

The 21-year-old is high on the United list for the summer season, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer planning to improve his defense considerably before the new season.

Wan-Bissaka made his debut for Palace only last February, but he quickly became a key figure in Roy Hodgson's team and one of the best right-backs in the Premier League this season.

According to Sky Sports, United wants to reach an agreement and has now made a "substantial" offer to Wan-Bissaka.

Palace, however, asks at least 50 million pounds for the 21-year-old.
