Man Utd, Liverpool and Man City next 10 games on Premier League title race

In what has been a crazy Premier League season so far, Manchester City now have the edge after finally securing a streak of results together.

City claimed their 12th straight win in all competitions on Saturday – a new club record – as they beat Sheffield United 1-0 to extend their advantage atop the Premier League.

After an indifferent start to the campaign, Guardiola’s solid defensive side are starting to look more like the mighty force that won back-to-back titles in 2018 and 2019.

Indeed, City are now three points ahead of rivals Manchester United and also have a game in hand.

For struggling United, they were thrown adrift from table tops after their standoff with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday night.

It capped a disappointing week for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side after being beaten 2-1 by Sheffield United at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

Solskjaer is hopeful his side can rekindle their challenge but they will face stiff competition from a Liverpool side who have finally resumed their title defense.

The Reds have stuttered amid a crisis of defensive injuries this campaign, but impressive wins over Tottenham and West Ham have left their supporters licking their lips at the prospect of another thrilling clash at the top.
