The future of David De Gea at Manchester United would have been badured after signing a new six-year contract with the club.
The new giant contract will keep the Spanish at Old Trafford until 2025 for a value of around £ 375,000 a week, reports the Telegraph.
Currently paid £ 200,000 a week, this is a huge salary increase for the 28-year-old, who will make him the highest paid goalkeeper on the planet.
There had been a lot of speculation about the future of the Spanish international, he only had a year to go and his interest in Paris Saint-Germain was to sign.
However, all that is said will fade now. De Gea confirmed that he would stay in the foreseeable future and sign a new contract when he and his teammates return from the pre-season tour of Asia.
De Gea started the match against Inter Milan Saturday in Singapore, as the Red Devils won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Mason Greenwood.
The results were perfect for United on his pre-season trip, having won twice in Australia, against Perth Glory and Leeds United.
The summer rookies have been slow to arrive, with only Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka arriving so far, but the increased stability of sorting De Gea's future will be a boost for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
