Marcus Rashford should see his salary more than triple in a new five-year deal with Manchester United.
The 21-year-old has been an integral part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team since the Norwegian took office in December, and should be rewarded with a new contract.
The attacker's current contract allows him to earn £ 80,000 a week, but the new deal will be worth more than £ 300,000 a week, the Mirror reports.
The huge increase will allow Rashford to comply with Wayne Rooney's old conditions at Old Trafford before the departure of the former English captain for Everton in 2017.
Rashford's current contract expires in the summer of 2020 and the club has the option to extend it for another year.
However, they choose to end this contract and offer the striker a much better deal to avoid the interests of Real Madrid, who wants to try to get Rashford out of the Red Devils.
Under the five-year contract, Rashford would be bound to the club until 2024, during which time he would earn £ 15.8 million a year and a whopping £ 78 million.

United may well face a significant increase in payroll, with David De Gea also attempting to negotiate a new contract worth £ 350,000 a week as the club tries to cut the contract.
The goalkeeper is out of contract at the end of next season, just like Rashford, and Paris Saint-Germain is very interested in his services if United does not reach an agreement with him.
The Red Devils are trying to lighten their wage demands by moving Alexis Sanchez this summer, though they can find a club to take his huge payday.
Chile is the club's highest paid player with £ 500,000 a week, although he is largely a marginal player this season.
