Marcus Rashford revealed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is asking his Manchester United players to focus on the attacks even if they do not have the ball.

It's a tactical change that has reaped tremendous benefits – 14 wins in 19 games under Norway's leadership – but the 21-year-old admitted that his style of play was "risky".

That said, the attacker insisted that we had to work with the philosophy of the entire team.

"He arrived and the first thing he told us was to play ahead," Rashford told GQ about Solskjaer's arrival.

"And play ahead when you see the pbad, which usually if you look right away, the pbad is right now.

"I think to achieve this, by planting this seed in people's minds, you will now begin to see that people are now looking for the avant-garde.

"When the other team has the ball, we have an eye on our defensive duties, but another eye is placed on, if we get it back," Where's the space? Where can we go?

"I would say it's the most important change and it's risky, but it's worth the risk if it pays off.

"And if we can do both as the team wants – the attackers are ready to come back – we can expect a lot of games in the future."

United's next match will be against Watford in the Premier League on March 30th.
