The Manchester United players took up arms when Moussa Sissoko attacked Daniel James unceremoniously in Manchester United's 2-1 win over Tottenham in Shanghai.

Shortly after the 21st minute of Anthony Martial's opening goal, Sissoko and James battled for the flag, which was halfway through Tottenham's half at Hongkou Stadium.

Although the game was touted as a "friendly match", it seemed more than when Sissoko shot James down from behind before appearing wrong on Welsh's chest.

James – Swansea's summer signing for United, cost £ 15m. He was angry when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's players crowded around the referee to ask Sissoko for some kind of punishment.

Scott McTominay was involved in an altercation with Harry Kane before the situation cooled down and the game resumed in an unusually fierce confrontation with the Champions Cup.

Sissoko sort of escaped a reservation and United went into the break with a goal advantage over his Premier League rivals.

Lucas Moura scored a tying goal for Spurs just after the hour of play, but Angel Gomes took the opportunity to win the match for United in the 80th minute.

A graduate of the United Academy, who replaced James, he played a nice double with Juan Mata before beating Paulo Gazzaniga from a tight angle.

Gomes, the second-half substitute, scored the winning goal against United

After scoring the winner of United, Gomes said MUTV: "I can not even describe how I felt, I saw him go to the back of the net and I just wanted to go out and party with the fans, that's why I slipped

"This is my second tour now and I knew I had to show what I could do.

"Juan and I are doing it at the training, I'm happy to travel, it's an honor to work with a player like him."
