Man Utd's former boss, Mourinho, responds to Neville's criticism

Jose Mourinho reacted to Gary Neville's criticism that he changed the image of Manchester United in his role as manager.

The Portuguese boss was stationed at Old Trafford for two and a half years. He lost his job in December after apparently losing support for the locker room.

United are known for promoting young people from the youth team and playing offensive football, what Mourinho failed to do during his stay at the clubaccording to Neville.

"He does not know my philosophy," Mourinho said during his role of pandit on be in sports.

"I would love to go to a club and be able to do what Jurgen [Klopp] and Pep [Guardiola] for example they did it.

"You look at the team on which Liverpool started today, how many players were there before Jurgen arrived? A couple.

"And when Pep was not satisfied with the four sidebacks he owned, he bought the same summer four backs that he liked.

"And when he bought a goalkeeper like Claudio Bravo, he was no longer satisfied with Claudio Bravo and he bought Ederson the following season.

"And when Jurgen is in the club and does not win anything for three years, he still has the confidence and confidence and always has the conditions to keep moving forward.

"This season, they probably have a great chance to do it, but this would be the first time they've won a trophy.

"That's why I said before, in my next job, I will not start a conversation with a club without knowing exactly what the club wants and what it needs to give in terms of structure and goals. "
