A member of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's back room was taken to hospital after a visit to Australia.
Manchester United is currently preparing for the pre-season.
However, the Red Devils were very frightened after one of the director's trusted lieutenants asked for medical badistance at the team hotel.
The club confirmed the news from Perth this morning.
In a statement, it says: "A member of our team behind the scenes was taken ill all night and was sent to the hospital by our club doctor for further treatment.
"We ask that medical confidentiality be respected."
United will face Perth Glory tomorrow in their first game of the tour before facing Leeds' old foe in the same city on Wednesday.
Solskjaer and his team then travel to Singapore where they will face Inter Milan in eight days.
The Norwegian and his team put players to the test yesterday in front of Australian fans during an open WACA ground practice session.
But shortly before their arrival on the ground, a plane hired by cheeky supporters of Liverpool was seen in the air.
He flew over with a big banner "LIVERPOOL FC – 6x European Champions!"
But the plane will be the least of Solskjaer's worries before testing against Perth Glory.
Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard seem to have had an explosive confrontation in a video posted by the club's media team.
And Romelu Lukaku has been driven away from the rest of the team in discussions with Inter Milan as a result of a summer move.
