According to reports, Adrien Rabiot has been seen offering £ 170,000 a week to join Manchester United this summer.
Rabiot, out of the PSG, will leave the champions of France in free transfer this summer with a crowd of great contenders.
In addition to United, Tottenham and Juventus would be interested in bringing down the midfielder 24 years.
But Rabiot could have a hard time lowering the huge salaries offered to United – with a cushy signature on the fees also on the table.
Reports in France indicate that Rabiot has been seen to offer an annual salary of 10 million euros (8.86 million pounds sterling).
That equates to £ 170,000 a week, which would make him one of United's highest paid players.
However, there are still six stars who would earn an even higher salary if they stayed at the club for the coming season.
Alexis Sanchez is by far the highest paid player on the team, while Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, David De Gea, Romelu Lukaku and Luke Shaw would all win more than Rabiot's bid.
But if wages were not enough to convince Rabiot to join United, Le10Sport says a signing fee of 5 million euros has also been proposed.
Rabiot must now decide if he wants to play in the Champions League with Juventus or Tottenham next year, or if he wants the Europa League with United.
The French international becomes free on July 1st.
Real Betis made an ambitious bid for Rabiot earlier this summer, but could not compete with other countries' major offers.
United's boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, would like Rabiot to help rebuild his summer team this summer, which should allow about eight stars of the first team to leave the club.
Ander Herrera and Juan Mata both play at Rabiot's position and leave the club, while Paul Pogba remains tied to an outing.
