Man Utd's target, Joao Felix, wants to follow in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo

Joao Felix has dropped the biggest clue that he is still open in Manchester.

Teen sensation Benfica, 19, has been badociated with many top European clubs after a sensational season in the Primeira Liga.

United is among those who added the star to their wish list with Real Madrid, Liverpool and Juventus also said to be enthusiastic.

Today, Felix said the course of Cristiano Ronaldo, former star of Old Trafford, was an "example for everyone".

This has fans wondering if he replicates what the superstar did and leaves Portugal to find his marks in the Premier League.

In an interview with the Spanish sports newspaper Marca, Felix, valued at 100 million pounds, left the door open for a change.

"My dream is always to play for big teams and in big competitions, but as I have already said, I am here and I am very happy in Benfica, who is also a great European team."

When asked if a club paying its € 120 million buy-out clause was "crazy," Felix said, "Maybe, yes.

"But I do not understand the market or the values, these are things for agents and presidents, and I just play."

About his fellow Ronaldo, Felix added, "I do not know him [personally]. He is an extremely tough player, an exemplary footballer for all.

"Everyone knows that his story has not been easy, he's one of the best in the world for many years and he'll be there for a long time, Real Madrid really feels his absence."

United is on the market for top young talent, but Benfica's president, Luis Filipe Vieira, insisted that they were under no pressure to sell.

"Every day, the club is stronger and stronger, more and more independent. Today, we no longer need to make ineligible sales to balance our accounts, "he said.

"I reiterate that we have no goal of selling our key players. Each pbading day, these young talents are more valued and prove the good vision, direction and strategy we had.
