A 40-year-old man who allegedly murdered his wife and two children in Ntronang in the Brim North district has been arrested by police in the eastern region.
Emmanuel Gafa was smoked from his hiding place in Nyanoa near Adeiso.
The suspect was declared wanted after fleeing Ntronang where the family were found dead and locked in their room.
Patience Kpezle, 38, and her two children, Berlinda Gafa, 13, and Isaac Nyarko Gafa, 11, were found dead after police forced open their bedroom door following a report filed by the MP of the region.
Coven member Dodze Samuel reported a smell emanating from the room to police.
According to locals, Patience and her husband have been arguing since she moved to live with her husband in Akyem Ntronang after their marriage.
Eastern Regional Police PRO DSP Ebenezer Tetteh, who confirmed the arrest, said the suspect was in the custody of New Abirim Police Command.
