UEFA opened disciplinary proceedings against Manchester United after two bottles were thrown from the stands against Ángel Di María in Paris Saint-Germain's victory at Old Trafford on Tuesday.
Di María, a former United player, took a bottle of beer and pretended to drink it. Later, a bottle of water was launched to him and United can expect a fine when the case is settled by UEFA on February 28th.
The club has also been accused of having blocked the stairs, while PSG faces a series of charges on the conduct of its supporters: fireworks, launching objects, acts of damage and agitation of the crowd. An article landed at United's Luke Shaw's feet in the first half.
