Manchester United supporters asked the club to do everything in its power to recruit Jadon Sancho after attending his meeting with Marcus Rashford for England.
The pair debuted for England in the League of Nations semi-final against the Netherlands, and both gave a glimpse of life in a first half in a cage.
Rashford gave the advantage to England on the spot after being shot by Matthijs de Ligt, the announced target of United, but it's a subsequent incident that has excited fans for a future relationship between the striker and Sancho at Old Trafford.
Sancho was a good Dutch midfielder before throwing a perfect ball to Rashford, who was about to shoot, but was denied a final tackle.
The two men were constantly on the same wavelength throughout the first half, but did not have the opportunity to continue making the connection, with Rashford retiring to the break for one shot.
But 45 minutes was enough to convince United fans to want to see Sancho in red jersey next season alongside Rashford and other strikers Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood.
