according to Sky Sports NewsJames will undergo a medical exam today and could be announced soon as a United player.
The 21-year-old would have sparked the interest of many Premier League clubs, but it was United who moved first.
James is estimated to cost 15 million pounds with an additional 3 million pounds.
The young player had a great campaign in the league with a mediocre team, scoring four goals and seven badists from his position on the left wing.
In January, he almost joined Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United for £ 10m, after pbading a medical exam, but his timely move had to collapse at the last minute as a result of a late disagreement between the two clubs.
Instead, however, it would appear that he would only have five months later a dream move to Old Trafford.
James is currently part of Ryan Giggs' team in Wales and will return once his move is over, as the Dragons prepare to face Croatia in qualifying at Euro 2020.
