Manchester United have made a "substantial offer" for the half-right Crystal Palace Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to Sky sources.
United needs a long-term substitute for Antonio Valencia and has targeted the English under-21 defender.
Wan-Bissaka still has three years of contract and Crystal Palace does not want to sell, but its resolution could be put to the test by a large offer from United.
The 21-year-old made his debut at the palace in February 2018 and became a regular on the first team this season, making 39 appearances as tea finished 12th in the Premier League.

United was already busy before the opening of the transfer slot on June 11, with the conclusion of an agreement in principle for Swansea winger Daniel James.
A new contract was proposed to Juan Mata, but Ander Herrera and the captain of the Valencia club were released.
United begins pre-season against Perth Glory on July 13 and will stay in the city for a friendly against Leeds United four days later.
