The interim chief of the Red Devils has allowed the club to return to the top four of the Premier League championships, but admits he plans to go beyond this season.

Manchester United interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits he's "looking ever farther" into the club's long-term future, which has continued to return to form with a comfortable victory in Fulham.

Paul Pogba scored two goals on both sides of an Anthony Martial shot. United is forced to Craven Cottage to return in the top four.

It was the Red Devils' 10th win in 11 games since Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho in mid-December.

Each victory fuels the speculation that the 45-year-old could hold the position permanently in the summer.

The Norwegian has always hesitated to talk about his long-term future at the club, but admits that his plans for players go beyond the end of this season.

"I've always looked further," Solskjaer told Sky Sports. "I have been United since I signed United and of course I have the future.

"I look at the team, I look at the players, who can produce and play now, who can in one year, who can do it in two.

"Even now, we have players who can play in six, seven, eight, nine years with our exciting young team.

"For the moment, I'm focusing on putting ourselves at the table. We are fourth and hope to stay here.

"We want to climb higher, of course, but we are now in the top four for the next league match, which is Liverpool, and before that, we also had some good games."

Solskjaer also praised the winner of the match, Pogba, whose rebirth was shaped like the team's.

The French international has now scored 13 goals this season, including 8 in 10 games under the leadership of Solskjaer.

Solskjaer praised the man from Juventus, but downplayed his role in getting the 25-year-old back into shape.

"We know its quality at the moment," added Solskjaer. "The first goal, what a strike.

"I did not reveal his qualities; he plays to his potential. We try to make us a better team, to put the players in a position where we can hurt the teams.

"He definitely reacts to the way we do things now."
