Mandalore Headquarters Reveals Star Wars: The Trailer Trailer for Clone Wars Season 7

[ad_1]

The fallout of Ahsoka Tano leaving the Jedi order will be revealed when Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 7 shots the Disney Plus streaming service.

Many of the upcoming season's scripts as well as a trailer were shown Sunday at a panel of Star Wars Chicago Celebration. Executive producer Dave Filoni and members of the cast went to the stage to explain how they had discovered the new season and the events described in this season, including an important moment between Ahsoka and Maul.

You can watch the panel on the Star Wars YouTube channel, which we have integrated here. The trailer is not yet separate, but can be found at the 52:20 mark of the panel video.

The show was centered on Padawan Ahsoka, his master Anakin Skywalker and his master Obi-Wan Kenobi while they were fighting in the galactic conflict between the events of Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. .

The trailer begins with the Ahsoka Season 5 scene leaving the Jedi order in sepia, before switching to colors as we move on to new sequences. We have images of her descent into the underworld of Coruscant to start a new life, and the implication that she eventually escapes on a ship belonging to her new friends.

The clone commander Rex remembers his fallen brothers, while Yoda "is more certain that we never win the war". We also see Ahsoka's reunion with Anakin, who returns him his lightsabers (who now have blue blades instead of his original green blades).

"They're like new … maybe a little better," says Anakin, who also presents him with a team of clones helmeted in orange to lead the battle.

The trailer ends with some allusions to the arc of the plot The Siege of Mandalore, which was to serve as the show's final bow before its cancellation. It will include an epic duel between Ahsoka and Maul, and we had a little taste when the trailer ended.

"I was hoping for Kenobi, why are you here?" says a disappointed Maul, before they face sabers.

During the panel, Filoni emphasized how the show was still a technical challenge, but think this season is better than ever.

Actress Ahsoka Ashley Eckstein learned of the return of the series while she was in line waiting for a ride to Walt Disney World, noticing that she had learned from a stealthy text conversation with Bradley Baker's Dee (who expresses all the clones).

"Tell no one, promised to the Jedi," reportedly wrote Baker.

Sam Witwer, who represents Maul, continued to press Filoni for details about Mandalore's siege, but his wife, Anne, warned her of the return of the series when she said, "Dave, can I tell him? "

Since the end of The Clone Wars, Eckstein has played an older and wiser Ahsoka in Star Wars Rebels, which will take place many years later.

"It took me a while to get back to Clone Wars Ahsoka," she said.

With the collection of 12 episodes, Filoni was able to complete concepts that were only partially completed but have been revealed to fans since the cancellation of the series.

"We have slightly rearranged the series," he said, noting that some facial features had been modified from the original version due to improvements in animation technology.

The Bad Batch, a group of genetically improved clones, have already been seen in unfinished stories. The crowd was treated to a full clip of the Bad band, which released a huge team of droids in action.

Ahsoka's life at the 1313 level of the dark hell of Coruscant, where she meets the twins Trace and Rafa was also mentioned. She will learn new people with whom she surrounds herself.

"There is a lot of character development in these episodes," said Eckstein,

A second clip of the new season was more action-oriented, showing Ahsoka's bumpy descent into the underworld of Coruscant.

Filoni noted that Mandalore's headquarters is "something I have never been able to accomplish" because it was supposed to conclude the series and bring Maul back to the forefront.

"It's not the old mad grandpa Maul from Rebels, it's the youngest guy," Witwer said.

Maul's new look is inspired by his solo appearance and Ray Park, who physically represents Maul since Star Wars. Episode 1: The ghost threat was in MoCap costume for an "epic" battle in Maul-Ahsoka, said Filoni.

A third clip revealed on the panel is an unfinished scene where Anakin presents Ahsoka to a team of Clone Trooper, led by Rex, with orange details painted on their helmets.

After that, Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker), Catherine Taber (Padme Amidala), Tom Kane (Yoda), Matthew Wood (General Grievous) and James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan) joined the panel and expressed their gratitude to the fans.

"Appreciate what we do, yes," said Tom Kane in his Yoda voice.

Filoni has well understood by pointing out that Star Wars creator, George Lucas, may be retired, but that he continues to play an important role in the dynamic that has kicked off the 39, sent to The Clone Wars.

"The reason it works is because the teacher has taught me," Filoni said, noting how he had "listened" to Lucas instead of trying to impress him.

We do not have a release date yet for the new season, but it is likely that Disney Plus will arrive later in the year or early in 2020.
