(Pocket-lint) – The season two finale of hit Disney + The Mandalorian confirms that a Boba Fett spinoff series is in the works.
Disney last week hosted a four-hour Investor Day 2020 event to announce several Star Wars projects it had planned, and yet it neglected to mention the Boba Fett show starring Temuera Morrison. That’s probably because he didn’t want to spoil the surprise: At the end of the post-credit streak in The Mandalorian Finale, which began on December 18, 2020, it was confirmed that The Book of Boba Fett would arrive in December. next.
If you skip the credits sequence, you will see Return of the Jedi character Bib Fortuna, Jabba’s henchman, sitting on Jabba’s throne. Fennec (Ming-Na Wen) and Boba enter, with Bib saying, “Boba, I thought you were dead!” We won’t spoil anything else, but the end of the scene ends with a black screen revealing that The Book of Boba Fett will premiere in December 2021. It will presumably arrive on the Disney + streaming service.
