UEFA has lodged a complaint against Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain following incidents in the last 16 Champions League clashes at Old Trafford.

United has been accused of throwing objects and having blocked stairs in violation of UEFA's security regulations.

PSG midfielder Angel Di Maria, who was booed by the crowd on his return to his former club, was thrown a bottle while he was going to take a corner.

The French side has been charged with four offenses, including fireworks and objects.

The case is scheduled to be heard on February 28, one week before the match's return match.

PSG maintain a 2-0 lead after the first leg thanks to the goals of half-center French Fresnel Kimpembe and his international teammate Kylian Mbappe.

United will be without midfielder Paul Pogba for the second leg after being sent off for a second offense.
