Marco Asensio has reportedly threatened to leave Real Madrid after feeling “provoked” by Carlo Ancelotti.
The Spaniard played an important role under Zinedine Zidane last season, with 35 comebacks for Los Blancos.
However, playing time under new boss Carlo Ancelotti has been tough to come by, with the Italian giving Asensio just 69 minutes this campaign to impress.

After hoping for consistent minutes under Ancelotti, Asensio hit a boiling point this weekend when he was left as an unused substitute in Real’s 2-1 win over Valencia, causing him to ‘explode’ after s’ to be felt “provoked” by his manager, according to the Spaniard. Sport press briefing.

Asensio currently has just under two years left on his contract with Real Madrid and could be sold if the player asks to leave.
The Spain international’s frustration at the lack of minutes did not go unnoticed by Ancelotti, who said on Tuesday it was a “normal” and “good” reaction.
“It’s normal that those who don’t play are not happy,” said Ancelotti.
