A decision on the future of Marcus Edwards in Tottenham Hotspur will be made this summer on his return from the Excelsior Rotterdam loan.
Frustrated by his lack of opportunities at the Spurs last season and an unsuccessful loan spell in Norwich City interrupted by the Canaries, the 20-year-old attacking midfielder tried to get away and both sides have decided to move to Eredivisie, in order to help it grow.

The Spurs manager, Mauricio Pochettino, admitted earlier this year that he made a mistake in pressuring Edwards by comparing Lionel Messi a few years after his league debut and that it did not help. His development.
