Mark Hamill has become joking with his father with the Star Wars trailer 'Episode IX'.

Actor Luke Skywalker had a good laugh Saturday at the expense of everyone when he tweeted his own trailer for Star Wars Episode IX. His very literal trailer in which he spent his time when he was not on the set.

(I'm not even sure it's the Episode IX trailer he used, not that matters.)

This is a joke about dads without remorse, in case someone has not been clear. Hamill is basically a father of all geekdoms (not to mention his three real kids) so the sense of humor follows.

That's all. That's the tweet. Hamill says that he does not know when the Episode IX the trailer is coming, and we are not here either. The last chapter of the "Skywalker Saga" is due out in December, so we hope to see something soon.

The smart money is in its infancy in trailer at or around Star Wars Celebration, the not-quite-annual fan convention that will begin in Chicago on April 11th. It would not be the only revelation of the series, it is certain.

With the opening of the Disney Parks by Star Wars Galaxy's Edge in California on May 31, Celebration is expected to present a detailed overview of the nearly completed project. There is also the Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order video game of Fall of the Titans and Apex Legends Respawn Entertainment developer; the game was teased for the first time at E3 in 2018 and is expected to debut at the April show.

A Episode IX The trailer would be the perfect cherry at the top of a Star Wars celebration. The 2019 film also marks a turning point for the series as a whole, as George Lucas's Skywalker Saga draws to a close and the stories Lucasfilm-via-Disney continues to tell take – to paraphrase a wise Jedi Master – cross a no extra world larger.

Until then, we're stuck with Papa Hamill and his lame (but excellent) trailer joke. Thank you dad.
