The episode hypnotized the crowd of more than 6,500 people almost as much as the previous panel, which saw the geek icon and Star wars star Mark Hamill entertains the crowd in ecstasy.
Hamill was joined on stage by Taron Egerton (the two lead roles in the series), as well as Louis Leterrier, who directed each episode of the series, and Lisa Henson, daughter of Jim Henson and executive producer.
Henson revealed that she was a young PA on the set of the original movie, which her father had co-directed with Frank Oz, and she remembered all the planning and building the world that had been made to prepare this film. The new production returned to these plans and sets, much of which was stored.
Leterrier, meanwhile, commented on the complexity of production. "Every shot is the most complicated of my career, every shot is a nightmare."
Still, it's Hamill that catches all eyes (and why not?). The man who played Luke Skywalker was very funny talking about companies or people returning to something that they thought were behind them, or the idea of creating movie suites coming out there has several decades.
Hamill also composed a range of voices for the badembly, including the Joker, one of the actor's best-known roles Batman: The animated series.
(Hamill recalled his agent's disappointment when he took the role of Joker, claiming that the negotiator was hoping to get Alfred's role instead of the butler in all episodes.)
Hamill also received the Comic-Con Icon Award, given to groups or individuals who have advanced popular arts and comics. Faced with a standing ovation, the actor returned the appreciation to the public.
"It sounds excessively excessive, but it's very popular," he said. "If it were not for you, I certainly would not be here."
He ended up singing the song Buddi, a refrain of the recent A child's game remake in which he expressed the killer doll known as Chucky: "You are my Buddi, until the end / More than a friend, you are my best friend / I like you more than you'll ever know / I'll never let you go. "
