Mark Noonan Last Mark Noonan, former CEO of Hearts of Oak

Mark Noonan said goodbye to Hearts of Oak after his resignation from the club on Thursday, March 14, 2019.

Noonan left Ghana about a month ago and was due to return to continue as CEO of the club, but decided to slap the Phobians off his unpleasant start.

However, the expatriate marketing guru went on his Twitter page to show his appreciation to the club and urged them to defeat his rival, Asante Kotoko, in his absence.

"Thank you to all the real people @HeartsOfOakGH (you know who you are) who made our stay in Ghana special, I sincerely appreciate your support and I will miss you all so much." I am very grateful for the memories AHOSC #BeatKotoko "

Noonan officially took office in March 2018 with a mission to revive the fortunes and the image of a club.

Upon his appointment as CEO, Noonan facilitated the move of Legon Ajax Park's team training to the Pobiman field, which is destined for a sports complex. He oversaw several club recruitments, including the appointment of former Ghana international Kim Grant as the club's head coach.

Frederick Moore replaces Noonan as the new Executive Director. He joins AJS Consulting with the Rainbow family and has previously held the position of CEO of the Institute of Chartered Accounting.
