Mzbel
Popular Ghanaian musician Hiplife, Mzbel, revealed that strong media personalities were sabotaging his brand, which did not allow him to win a prize.
Mark Okraku Mantey, president of the Creative Arts Council, would have been one of the hit-hit "16-year-old" saboteurs.
Mzbel revealed that Mark Okraku Mantey and another type of journalist had made sure to keep him away from each rewards program.
She added that she had lost several approval contracts just because Mark Okraku Mantey did not like it.
She added that when she released her 16-year-old single, Mark Okraku Mantey and other members of the jury badyzed the song and made it sound like a bad song.
"My sabotage started a long time ago, which was started by two powerful types of media because they did not like my brand. One of them works at Multimedia and they have made sure that every reward program is taken away from me. All that will glorify and benefit from the brand Mzbel, they make sure that I am cut.
I have lost so many concerts and approval contracts because they said that I was controversially negative. It was a serious sabotage. When I was 16, I was 23 and it was just a song. Seeing this incredible song that has been everywhere, it was huge in almost all African countries but I did not win a reward in Ghana, because these same people, Okraku Mantey, are part of it.
They sat on the radio and badyzed the song to a point where it looked like a bad song. If I meet him today, I will leave without saying anything because he did not want me to succeed, but I did a lot for myself, "revealed Mzbel.
The hiplife musician is for some time already in the headlines of her comments about Kumawood actress, Nana Ama McBrown's husband, Maxwell Mensah.
She revealed that Maxwell had offered to marry her but she refused because she did not intend to get married.
She added that Maxwell Mensah kissed very hard and did not like it when they kissed.
