England’s fast pitcher Mark Wood was left out of the third test against India with a shaken right shoulder.
The 31-year-old was injured on day four of the second test at Lord’s as he dived to stop at the limit and despite returning to bowling on the last day the ECB confirmed he would not be fit to play. to Emerald Headingley.
Wood will remain with Joe Root’s team at Leeds to continue his rehabilitation with the England medical team and will be assessed again at the end of the test match.
