Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini travels to China to discuss his personal conditions with Shandong Luneng, Sky Sports News includes.

An agreement in principle has been reached between the two clubs and Fellaini has already pbaded a medical examination with the Chinese Super League team.

Fellaini, via his Instagram account, posted a photo of him at the airport with the caption "Let's go," Thursday morning.

Aged 31, he has been at Old Trafford since his arrival from Everton in 2013 and was an important figure in Jose Mourinho's reign.

Fellaini has been rewarded during the summer by a new contract, which is expected to last until 2020, with the option of an additional year.
