Pam Marrone, CEO of Marrone Bio Innovations Inc. (NASDAQ: MBII), tells Proactive Investors that the biotech company's BioUnite pest control program gives almond and grape producers in California a huge advantage in helping them solve mid-season pest management issues.
According to Marrone, BioUnite, an umbrella brand of its products, has introduced its first spray against orange-orange worm larvae, a pest that targets almonds, as well as its first spray to fight against powdery mildew, a fungal disease that it's grape attack.
