MARTIN says: Newcastle is alone against Premier League teams who have failed to qualify for the fifth round of the FA Cup in recent years.
Newcastle lost to Watford in the fourth round of the FA Cup Saturday
The defeat at home against Watford on Saturday was the 11th time Newcastle failed to qualify for the last game since qualifying for the quarter-finals of the 2005/06 season – they have never pbaded the fourth round under the control of Mike Ashley, completed in 2007.
Surprisingly, Liverpool has not managed to reach the fifth round nine times since the 2006/07 season, while West Ham has suffered the same fate eight times.

Swindon Town won seven home league matches against top teams, starting in February 1910 with a 3-2 win over Tottenham. The non-players then beat Notts County (twice), Arsenal, Everton and Manchester United in a four-year series.
The last game of their winning streak took place in 1921 as a division three club after defeating Sheffield United 1-0.
It was games played at home. Technically, the race ended at six o'clock because in January 1915, after a draw at Chelsea, they replayed their home game at Stamford Bridge and lost 5-2.
