Starz gave the green light to the first extension of its flagship show Power – and Mary J. Blige, Academy Award nominee and Grammy Award winner, featured.
The series, Power Book II: GhostCreative Courtney Kemp announced Friday the press tour of the Television Critics Association. The show "will continue the journey of some PowerThe most controversial characters, "Kemp said, without however focusing on James" Ghost "St. Patrick's Omari Hardwick, despite the title.

The last season of Power is scheduled for the first time on August 25 and will be divided into two parts. The first 10 episodes will be aired in late summer and fall, and the last five will begin in January 2020. Starz will also air a show Confidential Power, who will debut after the premiere of the season.
Power Starz is the most watched series by a sizeable margin, with an average of 12 million viewers on all platforms for its fifth season.
