Odododiodio's legislator said that participation in the party's presidential primaries signaled the will of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to oppose the power of the ruling party.

Nii Lante Vanderpuye, enthused by the party that has run an uneventful ballot till now, said the "super-incompetent" powerhouse should be preparing to step down.

"Up to now, the process has been very impressive and the result has been good. I have visited many places in the capital, ranging from Amanfro to Odorkor, Bubuashie, Kaneshie, Art Center, Korle Gorno, Korley Klottey and Odododiodio.

"Wherever I went, it was reported that so many people were queuing between 7am and 10am, which created some pressure in the polling stations, but things calmed down later," he said. he told Komla Adom, of Joy News.

Describing the participation as extremely impressive and peaceful, he said that nearly 95% of delegates voted in some polling centers.

"The only exception to Prampram has been solved. We hope that in the end everyone will be happy with the end result. It was free and fair and I know that even the losers will be very happy with the process, "he said.

The former Sports Minister said that it was a great achievement for the party and that it gave them the opportunity to stand firm and work together to achieve their goal of reclaiming power.
