Thirty-five victims of Friday's fatal accident at Amoma Nkwanta in the southern district of Kintampo, in the Bono Est region, who were burned without any recognition, were buried in a mbad grave in Jema.
The bodies of 20 other people who also died in the accident will be handed over to their families once the necessary identity documents have been identified.
The chiefs and residents of the area where the accident occurred also decided to practice traditional rites at the scene of the accident.

The accident, occurring Friday morning as a result of a frontal collision between two pbadenger buses, has made 57 victims.
Fifty-three other pbadengers who survived the accident also suffered various injuries.
Speaking after the mbad burial, Garu-Tempane DTS, Asore Avoka expressed her regret at the accident and advised the various transport unions to make mandatory the presence of two drivers on long distance vehicles, so that one could result in such deaths.
