30 – CHANCE (POR) – Portland stayed on the goal kick after Blanco intervened on the right side and raised the ball in the air, which caused Howard to jump up to overturn the bar. 39, one hand.

55 – RED CARD (POR) – Portland was reduced to ten men as a defender Julio Cascante He was shown a red card from referee Kevin Stott for a foul on Kamara near the center of the field.

63 – GOAL – PK – (POR) – In the 62nd minute, Stott indicated the place for Colorado goalie Lalas Abubakar to win a handball match. Valeri walked to the place and calmly sent his shot against Howard who had guessed the wrong direction. The goal gave Portland a 2-1 lead.
